There is a UK network interested in Web 2.0 for research - not just software engineering but e-science also. Not much on the web site yet but I attended a workshop this week and slides should be available soon.

Research 2.0 in UK
Jean-Marie Favre
Thanks Ian for the pointer. Yes, it seems that in the UK there is a very well organized community or at least projects on this topic. In fact I discovered in the last months that they are many events related either to research 2.0 or software engineering 2.0. That's amazing because I think most of the organizers ignore the existence of similar workshops in other places. I will put all this information on planet-research20.org and planet-software-engineering20.org but at the moment these portals are not ready for prime time. I prefered working on this web site because CASCON was approaching so fast ;-)
Thanks again for the pointer.
